Deadline Information: There are four deadline dates per year: March 31, June 30, Sept. 30, and Dec.
31. Applications are available online from the Straightforward Media website.
There is no paper application for this award. Essays will only be accepted
through the online form; no postal mail or faxes will be accepted. A completed
application should include the following information: the student's name (first and
last), grade point average, his/her current school, the college/university he/she is
attending or will attend, and his/her email address. Applicants are also required
to submit two essays on the following topics: 'Why did you choose engineering
over other educational opportunities? And what contribution will you make to the
engineering world?' and 'How will a StraightForward Media Engineering School
Scholarship help you meet your educational and professional goals?'
Number of Recipients: Four awards offered annually. One award is given each quarter.
Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.
Requirements:
• This award is for international and U.S. students.
• Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a postsecondary engineering program.
• Must be a high school senior or older student who is enrolled or planning to
enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program.
Additional Information: Established in 2005, StraightForward Media's $500 Engineering Scholarships are
offered four times per year to help the professionals of tomorrow complete their
schooling.
